أخباراليوم -  بحث وزير المياه والري المهندس رائد أبو السعود في مكتبه سفير الجمهورية الفرنسية لدى المملكة الاردنية الهاشمية السيد فرانك جيليه اوجه التعاون المشترك في مجال المياه وسبل تعزيزها.

واستعرض الوزير أبو السعود جهود وزارة المياه والري في مجال تامين مصادر مائية جديدة وتطوير المتاح منها والمشاريع المنوي تنفيذها خاصة الممولة من الجانب الفرنسي والاستثمارات الفرنسية في قطاع المياه خاصة مشاريع الـ BOT وجهود الوزارة في تنفيذ مشاريع مائية توفر حلول مستدامة لتأمين كميات مياه إضافية مثل مشروع الناقل الوطني مؤكدا ان الحكومة ماضية تعمل اقصى الجهود للإسراع في تنفيذ هذا المشروع الوطني الحيوي والهام ، وتعزيز مشاركة القطاع الخاص في تشغيل وصيانة المرافق المائية والصرف الصحي ، واعرب الوزير عن امتنانه وتقديره للتعاون الفرنسي الفاعل .

من ناحيته أعرب السفير الفرنسي لدى الاردن السيد فرانك جيليه عن سعادته للتعاون البناء والمثمر بين الجانبين مؤكدا على استمرار التعاون لما فيه مصلحة البلدين.

The Minister of Water and Irrigation discusses aspects of joint cooperation with the French Ambassador
The Minister of Water and Irrigation, Engineer Raed Abu Al-Soud, met in his office with the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Franck Gellet, to discuss aspects of joint cooperation in the water sector and ways to enhance it.
Minister Abu Al-Soud reviewed the efforts of the Ministry of Water and Irrigation in securing new water sources, developing existing ones, and the projects planned for implementation, especially those funded by the French side and French investments in the water sector, particularly BOT projects. He also highlighted the Ministry’s efforts in implementing water projects that provide sustainable solutions to secure additional water quantities, such as the National Carrier Project. He affirmed that the government is exerting its utmost efforts to expedite the implementation of this vital national project and to enhance the participation of the private sector in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities. The Minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation for France’s active cooperation.

For his part, the French Ambassador to Jordan, Mr. Franck Gellet, expressed his pleasure with the constructive and fruitful cooperation between the two sides, stressing the continuation of cooperation in the best interest of both countries.
